Abstract:
Summarize our research on ambient-oriented programming of the past four years.
Bio：
I’m a post-doctoral computer science researcher at the Software Languages Lab
of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, funded by the Flanders Research Foundation.
I have recently finished my doctoral thesis on advanced programming language support
for mobile ad hoc networks. I am co-designer of the Ambient Talk programming language.

Bio：
Susumu Toriumi (storiumi@nii.ac.jp) is a master course student at Department of
Computer Science, the University of Tokyo, Japan. He is also a member of XAC
project and worked in the field of wireless sensor networks. He received a degree
in information science (BSc) from the University of Tokyo in 2008.

講演概要:
Domain analysis, the first phase of domain engineering, is the process of
analyzing relatedsoftware systems in a domain to find the common and
variable assets. Inrecent years, feature-oriented domain analysis has been widely adopted
to capture commonality and variability of the requirements in a domain.
The construction of feature models is the key activity in
feature-oriented domain analysis. In this talk, I will give a brief
description of some recent research on feature-oriented domain analysis
and introduce our recent work, which help construct feature models by
analyzing the common and variable requirements in use cases.

講演概要:
Rigorous techniques are needed to develop adaptive systems which can
cope with both changes in the environment and with changing goals.
The objective is to minimise the degree of explicit management
necessary for construction and subsequent evolution whilst preserving
the safety properties implied by its specification. In this talk, we
focus on an architectural approach to self-management, in which
software components automatically configure their interaction as
required. We present an outline three-layer reference model as a
context in which to articulate some of the main issues and to describe
our pilot implementation. In particular we present our current work
on plan synthesis from goals and properties.
Jeff Kramer教授のプロフィール：
Jeff Kramer is Professor of Computing and Senior Dean at Imperial
College London. His research interests include rigorous techniques for
requirements engineering; software specification, design and analysis;
and software architectures, particularly as applied to distributed and
adaptive software systems. Jeff is the Editor-in- Chief of the IEEE
Transactions on Software Engineering, and the co- recipient of the
2005 ACM SIGSOFT Outstanding Research Award for his research work in
Distributed Software Engineering. He is co-author of a recent book on
Concurrency, co-author of a previous book on Distributed Systems and
Computer Networks, and the author of over 200 journal and conference
publications. He is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Royal Academy
of Engineering, Fellow of the IET, Fellow of the BCS and Fellow of the
ACM.

●「双方向モデル変換の言語的基盤技術に関する研究－ザBiGプロジェクト」
ソフトウェアの開発過程記述からソフトウェアを進化させる
リーダ：胡振江教授（国立情報学研究所 アーキテクチャ科学研究系）
ソソフトウェア開発の生産性向上は長年にわたり議論され続けてきた重要なテーマだ。
このテーマにおいて近年提唱された手法のひとつに、OMG（Object Management Group）
によって公式発表されたモデル駆動アーキテクチャ（MDA：Model Driven Architecture）
がある。これはモデリング言語でソフトウェアを設計し、それを幾段階かのモデル変換
によって実行コードまで完成させるという開発手法だ。要求仕様を正確に実行コードに
反映できること、しかもその過程がツールによるモデル変換によってシームレスに
進行することによって、ソフトウェアの生産性を高めようというものだ。
このMDAの手法に、双方向でのモデル変換を取り入れ、
より開発生産性を高めようという研究が、胡振江教授（以下、胡教授）が
率いるチームによって進められている。
それが「双方向モデル変換によるソフトウェア開発に関する研究」だ。
この研究の狙いは、ソフトウェア開発の各所において発生する変更を、
開発の全工程に同期（一貫させる）ことで、段階的に進化させながら
優れたソフトウェアを完成させていくプロセスを円滑にしようというものだ。
