Abstract
Bidirectional transformations are a novel mechanism for synchronizing and maintaining the consistency of information between input and output. Recently, researchers from many different areas of computing including programming languages, software engineering, databases, document engineering, etc. have proposed bidirectional transformations as solutions to a diverse set of problems. The purpose of this GRACE international meeting is to build on this growing interest in bidirectional transformations, to bring together the international elites, promising young researchers, and leading practitioners to share problems and solutions, and to open a dialogue towards understanding the common underpinnings of bidirectional transformations.
